NEET Biology free lectures — chapter-wise NCERT classes
नीट बायोलॉजी — मुफ़्त चैप्टर-वाइज लेक्चर
Biology decides NEET. It carries 90 of the 180 questions and 360 of the 720 marks, and unlike Physics it rewards accurate recall more than problem-solving speed. Aspirants who score above 330 in Biology almost always come from the same habit: NCERT read line by line, supported by chapter lectures for the concepts that a textbook paragraph cannot explain.
This page organises free NEET Biology lectures the way the exam actually weights the syllabus — high-return chapters first, Class 11 and Class 12 interleaved, with practice questions to check whether a chapter is genuinely finished.

1High-weightage chapters to finish firstसबसे ज़्यादा वेटेज वाले चैप्टर
Not all chapters are equal. Year after year, Human Physiology, Genetics and Evolution, Cell Structure and Function, Plant Physiology, Ecology and Biotechnology together account for well over half of the Biology paper. If your preparation time is limited, these come first and get the most revisions.
Ecology deserves special mention — it is short, almost entirely NCERT-based, and delivers around ten questions. Many aspirants leave it for the end and lose easy marks.
- Human Physiology — digestion, breathing, circulation, excretion, neural, endocrine.
- Genetics and Evolution — Mendelian genetics, molecular basis of inheritance.
- Cell Structure and Function, Cell Cycle and Cell Division.
- Ecology and Environment — the highest marks per hour in the paper.
- Biotechnology principles and applications.
2Cell structure and function — how to study itकोशिका अध्याय
The cell chapter is where diagram-based questions live. Learn each organelle by structure, function and the exception that makes it examinable: ribosomes lack a membrane, mitochondria and chloroplasts carry their own DNA, lysosomes are the suicidal bags, and the cell wall exists in plants, fungi and bacteria but with different chemistry each time.
Watch a lecture with the NCERT diagram open beside you and label it yourself afterwards from memory. NEET asks about labels far more often than about definitions.
- Prokaryotic vs eukaryotic — size, nucleus, ribosome type (70S vs 80S).
- Endomembrane system: ER, Golgi, lysosome, vacuole.
- Semi-autonomous organelles and the endosymbiotic theory.
3Genetics — practice beats readingआनुवंशिकी
Genetics is the one Biology block that behaves like Maths. Monohybrid and dihybrid crosses, incomplete dominance, codominance, blood groups, pedigree analysis, linkage and sex-linked disorders all need worked problems, not highlighting.
Molecular Basis of Inheritance — DNA structure, replication, transcription, the lac operon, the genetic code, the Human Genome Project — is pure NCERT and is worth reading three times.
- Solve 30 pedigree and cross problems after the concept lecture.
- Memorise the lac operon flow rather than isolated facts.
- Learn chromosomal disorders with their karyotypes.
4Human Physiology — the biggest scoring blockमानव शरीर क्रिया विज्ञान
Roughly a quarter of Biology comes from human physiology. Approach every system as a pathway: organ, mechanism, hormone or enzyme involved, and the disorder linked to it. Questions frequently test the disorder or the exact enzyme rather than the overall process.
- Digestion: enzymes, their source and their substrate.
- Breathing: transport of O₂ and CO₂, oxygen dissociation curve.
- Excretion: nephron, counter-current mechanism, hormonal regulation.
- Neural and endocrine: reflex arc, synapse, every gland and its hormone.
5A study routine that works with free lecturesपढ़ाई की दिनचर्या
One chapter lecture, one NCERT reading and one 30-question practice set per day is a sustainable rhythm. On Sundays, revise the week's chapters through your own notes and attempt a Biology sectional mock. Watching more lectures without practice is the most common way NEET aspirants waste a year.

Biology — frequently asked questions
- Is NCERT enough for NEET Biology?
- For theory, yes — NCERT covers almost every Biology question. Lectures help with concepts and diagrams, and question banks handle application practice.
- Which Biology chapters have the highest weightage in NEET?
- Human Physiology, Genetics and Evolution, Cell Structure and Function, Plant Physiology, Ecology and Biotechnology together dominate the paper.
- Are NEET Biology lectures available in Hindi?
- Yes. Several indexed educators teach the complete Class 11 and 12 Biology syllabus in Hindi and Hinglish.
- How much time should Biology get daily?
- Around 40% of your study hours. Biology has the most content and the highest marks, so it needs daily contact rather than weekly blocks.
