SSC CGL free mock test — Tier 1 online test series
एसएससी सीजीएल मुफ़्त मॉक टेस्ट
A mock test is not a scoreboard — it is a rehearsal. The SSC CGL Tier 1 paper gives you 60 minutes for 100 questions across Reasoning, General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude and English, which is 36 seconds per question including reading time. That pressure cannot be simulated by solving questions from a book at your own pace.
PadhakuMonk's free SSC CGL mock tests run on a real countdown with a question palette, mark-for-review, bilingual question text and an instant scorecard that breaks accuracy down section by section. Everything below explains the test structure, shows sample questions with solutions, and answers the questions aspirants ask before their first attempt.

1Test details and patternटेस्ट का पैटर्न
Each full-length mock mirrors the live Tier 1 pattern exactly: 25 questions of General Intelligence and Reasoning, 25 of General Awareness, 25 of Quantitative Aptitude and 25 of English Comprehension, two marks each, with 0.50 deducted per wrong answer.
Sectional tests are available too, when you want to drill a single chapter — for example a 20-question percentage set in 15 minutes — instead of sitting a full paper.
- Full length: 100 questions · 200 marks · 60 minutes.
- Sectional: 20–25 questions · 15–20 minutes.
- Palette states: answered, not answered, marked for review.
2Syllabus covered in the mockसिलेबस
The question bank is mapped to the official SSC CGL Tier 1 syllabus so nothing outside the notification appears in a test.
- Reasoning: analogy, classification, series, coding-decoding, blood relations, syllogism, non-verbal.
- Quantitative Aptitude: arithmetic, algebra, geometry, mensuration, trigonometry, data interpretation.
- English: error spotting, cloze test, synonyms, antonyms, idioms, sentence improvement.
- General Awareness: Polity, History, Geography, Economy, Science and current affairs.
3How to analyse your scorecardस्कोरकार्ड कैसे पढ़ें
Attempting is 30% of the value; analysis is the other 70%. After submitting, open the solution view and label every wrong question as a concept gap, a silly mistake or a time-allocation error.
Concept gaps go to a lecture. Silly mistakes go to a checklist you read before the next test. Time errors go to strategy — usually it means you spent four minutes on a question that deserved 40 seconds.
- Track accuracy per section, not just the total score.
- Note the three questions that ate the most time in every test.
- Reattempt the same paper after two weeks; the score gap shows real learning.
4Result and solution explanationsरिजल्ट और हल
Results appear the moment you submit — no waiting and no downloadable PDF. Each question shows the correct option with a short reason, and weak topics link straight to the lecture that teaches them, so revision starts inside the same session.
